Wig Worland started his photography career quite by accident when a school teacher suggested he might use a camera to describe the world around him. Around the same time Skateboarding took over BMX as the transport of choice and before long Wig was training the lens on his friends in the Skateboard world. The Deathbox turned to Flip before his very eyes and being in the wrong place at the wrong time made him a founder member of Sidewalk Skateboard Magazine.
Wig traveled the globe, and worked for most of the world’s Skateboard magazines along the way, before breaking into to the wider world of commercial photography in 2004. During this time an ongoing obsession with the pedal bicycle led him to the west coast of Africa, the west coast of India and the wilds of Patagonia in pursuit of the open road.
Wig now undertakes a mixture of commercial and personal photography work and lives amongst the hipsters in Peckham.
